Great your guests with a wonderfully whimsical gingerbread wreath on your door this holiday season. Use floral wire to wire gingerbread cookies and other Christmas cookies onto a standard faux pine wreath. Wire on some Christmas flowers, Christmas balls and candy canes (can be attached with hot glue). Attach two stuffed gingerbread people (look for them in the Christmas department of Wal-mart or other local stores). to the wreath, positoned so that they are sitting on the bottom cuve of the wreath. Attach a big bow of cheerful ribbons to the side and then simply wait for the squeals of delight from visitors when you answer the door!

This wine cork wreath is another really fun idea for a Christmas Wreath. Yes, its actually made from a gazillion corks from wine bottles (well, actually, about 70 corks). So next time you crack open a nice bottle of wine, don’t throw that cork away! If you start saving them now you might just have enough to fashion a wreath like this in the next say, 5 or 10 years (depending on how fast you go through wine).
Fasten about 70 wine corks to a wreath base (hot glue will do). Embellish with decorative holly berries, and a leaf spray created from preserved cedar leaves garnished with Christmas balls.
