A Christmas decor DIY project – a large rectangular glass vase is filled with clear mini-lights, then two types of gold ribbon are wrapped around the vase – a wide gold organza ribbon and a more narrow gold satin ribbon, alternating the two. The effect is that of a wrapped gift box. Faux pointsettia blooms are placed at the mouth of the vase, concealing the lights. Plug the lights in from the back so the cord is concealed and watch the gift light up and glow from within.
