We love simple but creative Christmas decor ideas like this one. A row of overturned large clear glass water goblets is placed up the center of the dining table.  An assortment of smallish purple, pink, and cream colored glass ball ornaments is placed within each overturned glass. Positioned on the top of each glass (really the bottom of each glass…), a small ivory pillar candle. Its a clean, modern, linear look, and really, really pretty.

A rustic, country candlescape is created easily by placing large clear cylinder vases on a runner of burlap, then set some of the vases right on the burlap, while you place other vases on tree stumps measuring 8 to 12 inches in height, which are then placed upon the burlap. Place a white pillar candle in each vase, then add about 6 inches of faux snow (ornamental snow) at the bottom of the vase. Surround the vases with twigs and faux pine branches, embellished with ornamental berries. These arrangements are beautiful for outdoor decor, particularly when placed near your front door or along your walkway. OR create a beautiful tablescape for your holiday table. Source unknown.

A Christmas mantel decorated in classic simplicity with pine garland garnished with a garland of red berries and 5 white pillar candles spaced evenly apart along the lenght of the mantel.  A pointsettia plant positioned on the floor at either end of the mantel completes the festive look.
