Pretty Christmas Table decorations are created using red Christmas balls in three different ways. The result is cohesive, clean and visually stunning.

Red Christmas ball ornaments are piled on a cake platter with some Christmas greens nestled in among them. Glue the balls together with hot glue to prevent them from tumbling all over the table during dinner.

On either side of the pedestal cake stand are beautiful silver candle stick holders, and sitting on top of each, a red Christmas ball.

Notice the candlestick holders don’t have to match but should compliment eachother is appearance to avoid appearing ecclectic.

Also note the varying heights of the candle stick holders – this adds visual interest.

To tie the whole look together a red linen table cloth is used (with a white runner up the center) while green linen napkins are placed on each place setting.

Red votive candle holders are placed just in front of each place setting and a few more red ball ornaments are scattered here and there at the center of the table as the perfect finishing touch for Christmas Table Decorations.

If you’re tired of the traditional bright red and green palettes at Christmas time, tone it down with this calming white, silver and gold palette.

Savor the magical feeling as iridescent bead garland glistens in the flickering glow of ivory candles in little silver votive pots, intermingled with flat star shaped ivory candles at the center of the table.

From a Shoot in Statesman Magazine, designed by Camille Styles, this Christmas table setting is based on a cool palette of silver & sage, inspired by the shades of a snowy winter landscape. No detail was left unconsidered, right down to the delicate Christmas wreaths hanging on the back of each chair, crafted out of floral wire and boxwood clippings, and suspended on silver ribbon, they add such a festive note to each chair. Outstanding. Its this kind of attention to detail as seen in these chair decorations that really takes a design to the next level.

Glittering cone-shaped Christmas trees, sparkling Christmas tree candles, glistening silver pillar candles and assortment of votive candles in holders are gathered together in a large group down the center of the table where they sparkle in the glow of candlelight.

Gleaming silver candle holders housing white taper candles are placed at either end of the centerpiece arrangement, and green Christmas ball ornaments are nestled in among the candles for extra visual interest.

The entire presentation is placed on an olive green table runner, which runs the length of the rectangular table and matches the round, olive green place mats.

Purple and green look amazing together, and this is THE hottest color scheme this Christmas. The richness of the colors really makes a powerful and pleasing visual effect. While purple and green are the hottest color combination for Christmas this year (apart from the traditional red and green), keep it in mind as a really wonderful color scheme for future Christmas’s too. You don’t always have to follow the current trend is something else speaks to your own sense of style more. And this one could be speaking for a while… its so gorgeous.

For this table setting idea, a purple table runner stretches across this round glass dining table. At each place setting, a round white charger plate with silver trim coordinates beautifully with the white leather dining chair with silver studs. On top of the charge plate is a square white dinner plate, followed by a round purple salad plate on top of which is placed a square white soup bowl surrounded by tiny silver bells. Nestled in the soup bowl, a beautiful green Christmas ball with glittering silver detail. A stem of juniper rests on the left side of the charger plate. At the upper left of each place setting, a purple napkin rolled into a silver napkin holder. And for the perfect finishing touch, a lime green satin toss cushion dresses up the chair – so pretty and cozies up the mood at the table. Stunning! A gorgeous Christmas table setting is created with a row of individually potted ornamental red pointsettia in silver urns from Pottery Barn placed up the center of the table. A taper candle rises from the center of each pointsettia. Each pot is placed upon a small round natural cardboard gift box, tied off with a thin candy-cane striped ribbon, complete with a gift tag. The pointsettia arrangements are very easy to replicate for yourself. The silver urns can be found at Pottery Barn. Simply insert into each urn a piece of floral foam, cut to size.  Insert a pillar candle into the center of the foam in each urn, using a candle pick. Then insert 5 pointsettia blooms around the candle.  Faux Pointsettia blooms come in different colors so feel free to change it up a bit by using another color if you like.
